Evaluation by Age 7

Evaluation by Age 7

Just as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children see a pediatric dentist no later than their first birthday in an effort to prevent dental problems, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends every child see an orthodontist at age 7 to prevent orthodontic difficulties.

Evaluation at age 7 doesn’t always mean treatment is needed at this stage. But in cases where it is recommended, interceptive treatment increases a child’s chances of avoiding surgeries, extraction of permanent healthy teeth in the future, and preventing or correcting habits that cause a bad bite.

For patients who do not require treatment, Dr. Razdolsky places them in our complimentary growth and development program. These patients visit us about every six months so we can monitor the eruption of their permanent teeth.

When the time is right for the child, Dr. Razdolsky will recommend treatment. Every child is different and everyone develops differently, so every child’s ideal time to begin treatment is different.

Please tell your friends and family members about the importance of evaluation by age 7.

You’re Invited to the Final Installment of The Hunger Games

You’re Invited to the Final Installment of The Hunger Games

Are you getting as excited as we are to gather for our annual holiday movie date?

This year, we get to march together into the AMC Showplace Vernon Hills 8 to witness the fight for Peeta’s soul, and to see President Snow pay for what he’s done. That’s right – it’s time for our annual patient appreciation event and the final installment of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.

You, your siblings and your friends are invited to join us Nov. 21 at the theater. Be sure to get there early, because the first 500 people will receive a free Forever Smiles hoodie. The doors will open at 10:30 a.m., and the movie starts at 11:30 a.m.

Why are we doing this?

“We appreciate our patients and their families,” Dr. Yan Razdolsky says. “We are getting to that time of year when there are lots of holiday parties and family gatherings, and this is our way of having one huge party for our patients to show them how much they mean to us.”

This will be the third year Forever Smiles has held this party, and each year a record number of people attend. Many patients tell us that they look forward to this event.

We’ve always seen a Hunger Games movie in the past, but now that the franchise is about to end, don’t fret. We’re sure we will find another awesome movie to treat you to next year.

If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, there is still time to do so by calling (847) 215-7554, or emailing Anelia@Razdolsky.com.

The theatre is located at 555 Lakeview Parkway in Vernon Hills.

Happy Holidays, from Forever Smiles!
